Ticket to fixed
A ServiceNow ticket, start to finish. Pick it as you type, find the problem, fix it, and every run is written back to the ticket as a work note.
Recorded on the real product against our demo company, Lakefront Works. The people and data are fictional.

Jake Taylor calls the help desk because he can't sign in. Alan logs a ticket in ServiceNow as usual. PowerScripts is connected to the same ServiceNow, so anything Alan runs on a ticket is written back to that ticket. He opens Account Check and types Jake to pick the ticket he just made. Jake isn't locked out. His account is switched off and that's why he can't sign in. Alan switches the account back on against the same ticket. Back in ServiceNow the ticket already has both notes. Each one says what ran and who it was for, what happened and where to find the full record. Alan didn't type any of it.
Jake sets a new password the next time he signs in and Alan resolves the ticket. Every step is on the record and the ticket is closed sooner because nobody has to write it up.
