Privacy
This page covers PowerScripts and powerscripts365.com, provided by Thin Oxygen LLC and RPR Wyatt, Inc. ("we"). PowerScripts runs on your server, and the scripts, run history and credentials it holds stay there. We only receive what is listed on this page.
The short version
- The product does not send us your scripts, run output, users, mailboxes or credentials. Ever.
- When you install, start a trial or update, the installer or app tells us who registered and which server it is on, so we can issue the trial key and support you.
- This website uses Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the pages, and a contact form that emails us.
- We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
- Email sales@powerscripts365.com to see or delete what we hold about you.
What the product sends us
PowerScripts contacts us only at these moments. Each one is a single request to our registration service.
- Install or trial start
- Your name, company, work email and phone number (optional), as you type them. Also the install id (a random number made at install), the server's name, its Windows domain, the Windows version and the PowerScripts version. We email a 6-digit code to confirm the address before a trial key is issued.
- Update
- The install id, server name, Windows domain, the old and new version numbers, and the total number of script runs on that install as a single count. The updater prints a line saying it is doing this.
- Every request
- The IP address it came from, as any web service sees it.
Nothing else leaves your network on our account. The scripts themselves connect only to the targets you configure, such as your Microsoft 365 tenant and your domain controllers. The optional failed-run diagnosis uses a language model on your own hardware. A server with no internet access works fully; you get a trial key from us by email instead.
What this website collects
- Contact form
- Your name, work email, phone number and message, plus your IP address. It goes to the same registration service and is emailed to our sales team.
- Microsoft Clarity
- Clarity records how visitors scroll, click and move through the pages, and sets cookies to recognise a returning browser. We use it to improve the site. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement; see Clarity's terms.
- Script run counter
- The home page asks our service for the total run count across installs. That request sends nothing about you beyond what any page load sends.
Why we use it
- To issue and verify trial and licence keys, and to stop the same trial being issued twice.
- To reply when you ask for a walkthrough, and to follow up on a trial you started.
- To know which versions are in use, so we can support them and tell customers about fixes.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Registration and contact records are stored in Microsoft Azure in the United States, and verification emails are sent through Azure Communication Services. Codes expire after 30 minutes. We keep registration records while your install is in use or we are in touch with you, and delete them when you ask.
Your choices
- Ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by emailing sales@powerscripts365.com. We reply within 30 days.
- Block Clarity with your browser's tracking protection or a content blocker; the site works the same without it.
- Install offline and ask us for a key by email if you prefer not to register from the server.
Changes
If what the product or this site sends changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
