PowerShell reads Active Directory, Python draws the org chart, in one script and one run.

Some jobs need more than PowerShell. This script draws Lakefront's org chart. The PowerShell part does what PowerShell is good at: it reads every person, their title, department and manager out of Active Directory. Then it passes the list of people to Python, in the same script. Pandas works out who reports to whom and how wide each manager's span is, and matplotlib draws it. Python libraries, running on your own server, under the same roles and audit as everything else. One run, with a ticket like any other. Forty-seven people read from Active Directory, nine managers, and a finding: six people have no manager set. And the chart opens right in PowerScripts. The whole company on one page, the widest span of control at a glance, and the missing managers flagged in red. Schedule it, or email it, like any other script.
