Annie has a script she has run by hand for years: find computers that have not signed in for ninety days. She makes a new script in PowerScripts and pastes hers in, exactly as it is. PowerScripts reads her parameters, with their types and defaults, and turns them into a run form. Nothing to rewrite, no extra files to write. One click sets up the output for her. Her Format-Table line stays in as a comment, the results go into a report instead, and nothing else in her script changes. She picks Excel, sets it to email Clark Kent, and points it at the domain. She runs it with a ticket. The same table on screen as always, and now a spreadsheet in Clark's inbox, with the run on the audit trail.
