Seven forty-two. Nigel Wick calls the service desk: his laptop was stolen at the airport. Alan has the ticket, INC0060, and one place to work from. He searches once, and Nigel comes back as one person: his Microsoft 365 account and his Active Directory account together. First, the cloud. Right-click, block sign-in. PowerScripts blocks every new sign-in and revokes every session he has, so the laptop's Outlook, Teams and browser are signed out. The ticket number goes in with it.

Then Active Directory, from the same search result. A new password, generated and set at the domain controller. It never appears on screen or in the log; Alan gets one Copy button, to read it to Nigel on the phone. And the network. Nigel comes out of the VPN group, picked from the directory rather than typed, so nothing on that laptop can reach the office either. Every one of these runs carried the ticket number. With tickets required, PowerScripts would not have started them without one. About three minutes after the call, it is done. One search for the ticket shows every action: what ran, against which system, by whom.

Next morning the laptop turns up in lost property. Alan opens the block and presses Reverse. Nigel can sign in again, and the undo is filed under the same ticket, right next to everything else.
